75 min Initial Intake Appointment

$225–$315

The first session is 75 minutes. We'll review any questions you have about the paperwork, therapy in general, and practice policies. To help with the assessment, you'll be asked more clarifying questions about the information you provided, and we'll be sure we understand what your goals are for therapy.

Weekly 50 Minute Sessions

$175–$275

Ongoing sessions after the intake appointment are 50 minutes. We ask our clients to commit to weekly sessions for our first 3 months together to ensure we set a solid foundation, and so we can get the best picture of where you are coming from, and how we can help. After 3 months, we'll determine together if weekly still feels appropriate before moving to bi-weekly or once a month.

75 Minute Individual Sessions

$195–$300

It's often that 50 minutes just doesn't feel like enough time. For clients who request, we can offer 75 minute sessions for those who believe they'd benefit from longer sessions.

75 Minute Couple/Family Sessions

$215–$350

Things come up during your session, and we might decide it could be really be helpful to talk about with your partner, parent, or friend together. We're able to provide couple and family sessions as appropriate for your treatment.

Insurance

We do not participate with any insurance panels and are considered an out-of-network provider.

However, through your insurance, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement for therapy sessions. Depending on if your insurance plan offers Out of Network Benefits.

We have partnered with Thrizer, a modern mental healthcare platform that improves the therapy experience for individuals at no cost. Thrizer will help you save on every session via your out-of-network insurance benefits. They will submit claims for you after every appointment, getting you reimbursed as fast as one week later! Schedule a Consult to see if you have out of network benefits, and start the therapy process faster.

Please note that utilizing this feature would require us to provide your insurance company with a mental health diagnosis for you, which will be a part of your permanent medical record.

Why don't we accept insurance?
Because being an out of network provider allows us to be the most flexible with your treatment and as confidential as possible.

Sure, using insurance is less cost out of pocket, but the process of using your insurance is not completely confidential and creates barriers for quality treatment.

Insurance companies dictate things like length of treatment and sessions, and require that you are diagnosed with a mental health disorder for therapy to be paid for. A mental health diagnosis remains permanently on your health record.

Insurance companies also have access to know why you are going to therapy and what progress you are making. They have the right to audit your therapy files & notes, and ask questions of your therapist about your treatment.

By bypassing insurance, we are able to keep your records secure & confidential, without limitations of an insurance company, ensuring you the quality treatment you deserve.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
