Hi there, I’m Leah, and I am the Practice Manager for the EMTC team! I was born in the Philippines but have lived in Santa Barbara, California majority of my life.


Nia Padilla

Client Care Coordinator

Hello! My name is Nia, and I'm thrilled to be part of Empowered Mind Therapy Center as the Client Care Coordinator! I’m here to answer any questions you may have about starting your healing journey. Being Puerto Rican living in NYC, I bring a unique perspective and a deep commitment to empowering marginalized communities. I've worked extensively in politics around social justice causes and am passionate about creating positive change. My work has ranged from teaching early childhood how to garden in East Harlem to helping elect pro-choice candidates win elections. Outside of work, I love to sing and dance, enjoy live music, and am a true food enthusiast who loves exploring new spots. Time in nature is my happy place, especially the beach. I’m honored to contribute to EMTC's mission of providing high-quality mental health services and making a meaningful impact in the lives of the people we serve.
