GETTING STARTED

What to Expect

You're ready to do the work and feel better. But you're nervous about how this whole therapy thing goes. No worries. We'll walk you through it.

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:

First, schedule your free 20 minute phone consultation.

During the consult we'll ask you a few questions about what brings you to therapy, and we'll see if we can find a good fit for you. We'll also talk about being good practical fit considering our schedules and fees.

Next, if everything's all good, we'll set our first appointment.

We'll send you an email through the Client Portal to complete and sign the intake paperwork.

At the first session, we'll review the paperwork, and answer any questions you have.

Your therapist will make sure they are clear on any goals you might have, so we can stay grounded in our work together.

At the end of our session, we'll ask you how you felt about it, and if you'd like to meet again. Finding a therapist that truly feels like a good fit is important.

Even if a fit isn't found with us at EMTC, we're happy to provide you with referrals of therapists in the community we trust. Your mental health treatment is important to us, so a right fit for you matters most. Schedule a consult today to find the right fit therapist for you.
