Licensed Clinical Therapist

EMTC is looking for a Full-Time Therapist to join our growing team!
Are you a licensed clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) in California who is tired of the burnout culture in mental health? Do you want to do deep, brain-based work with high-achieving BIPOC women and QTBIPOC individuals, but feel limited by systemic barriers in your current setting?
Empowered Mind Therapy Center (EMTC) is expanding. We are looking for a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our San Francisco Bay Area-based team (hybrid/virtual options available).
We are looking for someone who:
Is Fully Licensed: Active registration as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC with the California BBS.
Values Equity: You have a deep commitment to social justice, advocacy, and community care.
Is Tech-Savvy & Organized: You are proficient with EHR systems (Simple Practice) and can manage documentation efficiently.
Aligns with Our Vision: You understand that mental health care is community care. You view each client not just as an individual, but as the heart of a collective.
Position Responsibilities include:
Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions a week
Timely completion of treatment plans, progress notes, and billing
Coordination of care as required with other providers
Attend regular Team Meeting, Clinical Consultation/Training meeting & regular Supervision
Participate in community events & networking opportunities
Being an organized, self starter
Highly desired applicant skills/experience:
Trained or training in progress in EMDR and/or Brainspotting
Availability to see clients in person in Walnut Creek, CA
Maintains availability 2 evenings per week or 1 weekend day for client availability.
Clinical focus in serving QTBIPOC, Neurodivergence, Teens, & Eating Disorder populations
Experience in Group Work or Workshop Delivery
Mental Health Content Creation (social media, blogs etc.)
