What my clients say about working with me:

Clients have told me that I’m their “professional homegirl”, and I take pride in that. They’ve said I’m skilled at trauma treatment, all while being relatable, goofy, and I curse a little for emphasis. I’m grounded in my humanness and in social justice, and always bring those parts of me into the therapy room.

Off the Clock:

I chase my beautiful butthead toddler around, listen to anti-racism & practice building podcasts, Netflix binge with my husband,  hang with my  family, and  have brunch with the many amazing women in my life!

Somewhere along the way you stopped feeling like yourself.

You’re not even sure how  “yourself” is supposed to feel like anymore. You didn’t think this is where you’d be in your life. You know you’ve worked hard, and have been through a lot but still feel like you don’t have much to show for it. You spend hours scrolling on social media, comparing yourself to all those perfect lives…Pictures of your peers getting their dream jobs, on romantic dates, with their happy families, weddings, baby showers, vacations…

While you feel alone, stuck and misunderstood.

Adding the fact that we live in a world where social injustice is so glaring to some, and denied by others. It’s no wonder why we feel so disconnected. And while the world keeps turning, you feel overwhelmed, stressed out, and alone in your thoughts of never being good enough.

You want to stop second guessing yourself. Stop obsessing over right or wrong decisions. You want to feel worthy & capable. I can help.

I’ve spent 12+ years working with people whose lives were impacted by trauma, child abuse, violent relationships, drug addiction, and other messed up stuff no one likes to talk about. I work with clients have struggled with how racism impacts their mental health, or how their sexual orientation or gender identity has isolated them from their family. I've felt and seen how social injustice impacts mental health through my own story, and those of my clients.

I became a therapist so I could work towards social change in an intimate way. I wanted to be someone who my client's know has their back and really understands them, in a world where it seems no one understands each other.
